Ben Chafin Jr. has passed away at the age of 60 due to contracting Covid-19. United States politician Chafin was the working senator of Virginia State.

The first day of 2021 indeed turned to be very different for the family and friends of Ben Chafin. Despite seeing a dark day, the family of Ben thanked the VCU Medical Center in Richmond for taking care of Ben during this challenging time.

“State Senator Augustus Benton (Ben) Chafin, Jr., a native son of Russell County located in Southwest Virginia, passed away on January 1, 2021, from Covid-19 complications,” the statement said.

On 18 May 1960, Ben Chafin was born in Abingdon, Virginia, US. In 1986, Ben came up with his law firm. He worked as a top American lawyer for a long time before becoming a politician in 2013.

Ben Chafin became a Virginia senator in 2014, helping his beloved state to become better in many different ways. Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam played huge respect by flagging the trademark of Virginia.

“I knew Ben as a lawmaker, an attorney, a banker, and a farmer raising beef cattle in Moccasin Valley, working the land just as generations of his family had done before him,” Northam said in a statement. “He loved the outdoors, and he loved serving people even more. He pushed hard to bring jobs and investment to his district, and I will always be grateful for his courageous vote to expand health care for people who need it.”

The death of Ben Chafin has deeply broken his family. However, they are still acting in a stronger manner. Chafin lived most of his life with his wife and three children.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken life away from many old age people. Some of them can’t take the severity of this virus.
